Application Analysis and Development 1. Conduct in depth interviews with end-users and analyze stand alone databases to gather requirements for business solutions that are secure and accessible to the entire university. Will then either: Ô Implement a Banner solution Ô Recommend the purchase of additional software that integrates with Banner Ô cDesign, develop, test, document and implement new solutions using approved technologies 2. Using data warehouse/web reporting solution: Ô Design, develop, test, document and implement new reports to meet department needs Ô Redesign legacy reports Support 1. Continuous quality improvement of data integrity using purchased or developed tools 2. Provide user support for Banner Advancement and any integrated applications, to the Department of Institutional Advancement, Alumni Affairs and other university departments Technical Writing Write technical specifications, user documentation, design process flow diagrams, and assist departmental trainer in developing training materials Requirements: Ô B.S. or higher in computer sciences or related field Ô 5 or more years experience in database and web application development, and reporting Ô Superb communication skills, well organized, strong prioritizing and time management skills, flexible and team oriented
