Enhance the existing test Automation framework – based on python and excel macros – by building the necessary modules to enable SQM team members to automate their functional regression test scripts Maintain the automation framework to make the necessary changes as new releases are delivered to test. Develop, maintain and execute automated test cases. Debug issues that arise within the automation framework and in software under test, and resolve them. Understand the functional specifications and write automated test cases against them. Assist other team members to convert manual test cases into automated test cases.

2-5 years of relevant IT experience.

Experience with writing stand alone Python programs on Linux is a must.

Ability to read and understand the existing code and make necessary changes as per the requirements is a must.

Basic knowledge of writing and debugging Excel Macros (VBA) is a must.

Basic understanding of async networking is a must.

Knowledge of twisted python framework is a big plus.

Experience with writing small scripts on Linux is must.

Knowledge of the Software development life-cycle.

Use of QA Automation tools.

Familiarity with Process and Procedures as they pertain to test and industry standards.

Experience with developing test scripts and test plans.

Financial industry experience (stocks, options, futures) a significant plus.

Must be self starter and have the ability to work independently and within a team.

Strong analytical skills and multi-tasking required.

Strong communication skills are required, frequent interaction with internal and external customers.
