Assignment Duration: Immediate Start following the completion of the interview process- through December 2012     Work with user groups to define system and reporting requirements, communicate requirements to IT, analyze source system data, and validate system outputs, processes and reporting data. Develop queries against various data sources to analyze and report data. Identify data trends and data abnormalities.         Major Activities  

•   30%  Gather, analyze, and document governmental programs data and reporting requirements and translate these requirements into functional and technical specification. Make recommendation related to proposed technical solution

 

• 30 % Lead the effort to develop programs and queries to analyze source system data, systems outputs and reporting data. Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations. Work with the data modeler to create data mapping specification

 

• 20 % Work closely with the Information management groups to develop, test, and validate systems and reports

 

• 10 % Attend and assist in facilitation of meetings between users and IT

 

• 10 % Document business, technical and systems requirements

• Ensure that the business, systems, and reporting requirements for the Governmental Programs groups are identified, accurate and properly communicated to IT
• Ensure that the systems solutions produced meet Governmental Program user requirements.

Education and Experience

• Extensive experience reporting and analyzing data.
• Experience working in a data warehousing environment and using Business Intelligence
• Experience in the Healthcare industry
• Ability to develop and general queries and reports using SQL. and SAS
• Strong experience analyzing and documenting business requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate to business users and IT
