Description:
Support Director IT Relationship Management in all activities’ and deliverables surrounding a business need and solution for the creation and translation of business requirements into IT requirements throughout the SDLC project cycle. To include (but not be limited to) the following duties: Provide business and technical expertise in formulating, defining and implementing systems requirements and objectives based on business needs. Work as liaison between business units and IT groups to document business requirements and translate them into proper system requirement specifications to achieve operational goals. Recommend and work with others to develop test case scenarios for functional, business cycle and regression tests throughout project implementations. Make informed, well thought out recommendations to resolve business solutions by providing alternative outcomes. Act as a subject matter expert to Sr. Management and other business analysts.
Requirements:

Works closely with business area liaison (BAL) to determine needs regarding business processes and functionality; authors or co-authors business requirements with BAL while leveraging and referencing the documentation on core systems. Analyzes, evaluates and updates the functional business requirements with the BAL throughout the life of the assignment.

· Applies a broad knowledge of the industry, business process, business applications and system software for end-to-end auditing, analysis and oversight on projects and assignments. May include analysis of key business processes with a focus on identifying opportunities to improve computing availability, reliability, efficiency, performance, overall service and lead to direct cost savings

· Work with the business areas on developing and documenting Business Cases, Feasibility Studies, and cost/Benefit analysis for projects

· Perform a variety of oversight functions to ensure the successful completion of work on cross-functional enterprise projects and maintenance activities. Inform and report to the Director any barriers, issues and risks that slow or prevent the successful accomplishment of project or maintenance objectives. Ensure completed project deliverables are reviewed and approved by business stakeholders

· Actively participate in business unit related meetings; setting the IT agenda and business goal/strategy.

· Contribute to design, development and deployment activities as needed in support of the corporate SDLC. Facilitate JAD/JAR sessions
