The US Head of Platform Product Management is part of a high performing team that together is responsible driving the requirements underpinning our services. This role will focus in particular on the newly launched Compute on Demand service, subsequent On Demand services we launch, and the Managed Infrastructure Solutions (MIS), offering managed, hosted infrastructure solutions (starting with computing solutions, and moving to storage and beyond) to the capital markets community. This product line has been targeted as the most strategic, with the highest growth potential, of all services in the division, and lies at the heart of one of the most dynamic technology fields in the world - cloud computing. This management role is highly customer focused, as you work with sales, presales, managed services and our customers to define these products, their features, delivery schedules, service offerings, contracts and prices. This role presents the ideal candidate with exposure to some of the biggest, most powerful financial institutions in the industry today. RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Senior Vice President in charge of the Global Platform Services Business, the Product Manager is expected to: 1. Through a deeply understanding of our target market customers and their business & functional requirements for each of our Platform Services, define and champion a set of services optimized for profitable growth globally. 2. Work in partnership with the European product manager, overseeing regional product launches and managing local requirements 3. Launch and managed products by creating and documenting product requirements in line with divisional best practices, and overseeing & taking accountability for overall product success 4. Support sales and technical presales in the packaging, pricing and pitching of services to market. This involves extensive involvement in pursuing and closing solutions deals in particular and taking ownership for successful completion of all proposals   5. Working with product operation, define and optimize business processes in support of the product line across ordering, fulfillment, operations, and customer service 6. Manage pricing and associated service terms, as well as contracts and related service level agreements 7. Steward the core positioning and messaging for the product. Develop sales tools and collateral (with support from marketing) 8. Be a leader in the adoption of sounds product management processes across the company 9. Be an expert with respect to the competition

1. Minimum of 10 years experience as a Product Manager of a complex technology based service

2. Evident expertise in understanding the infrastructure challenges facing our customers and the fundamentals of the technologies involved in addressing them

3. Demonstrated success defining and launching high profile products or projects
