Currently seeking a Business Analyst to help design and build the next generation of our MS Office productivity tools. Design features and products for this high profile and exciting initiative as we continue to build innovative, market leading products for our investment banking clients.   Within our fast-paced, team-oriented environment, Business Analysts are responsible for business ownership of specific functionality areas, such as performing competitive research and analysis, conducting user interviews to identify specific areas for improvement and generating ideas for future functionality upgrades. Business Analysts create and manage detailed design documents that outline the specifications, workflow, and actual graphic layout of proposed application solutions. Other responsibilities include presenting designs of proposed functionality improvements to internal teams and clients, as well as performing quality assurance tasks to ensure stability and thoroughness of the Platform, including unit testing and close collaboration with the technology team during the development stages.

Bachelors degree

The ability to draw and compile ideas from others

The ability to be self-directed in development of functional requirements, across data, design and technology, as well as the capacity to work within a collaborative team environment to vet new ideas

An understanding of financial services or previous business analyst technology experience is preferred, but not required

0-2 years of related experience preferred, but will consider others with 2-4 years of Business Analyst experience.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is preferred, but not required
Bonus points:
 
Experience with/knowledge of DealMaven or other MS Office presentation automation add-ins.
Financial industry experience creating pitchbooks/presentations.
