Description:
Responsible for development, deployment, and support of Windows desktop images and application delivery based on industry standard and best practices. Responsible for all aspects of desktop management, including patch management, login process, GPO management, user profile. Responsible for performing application integration, configuration, requirement gathering as well as application support. Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, test, deploy business application based on user requirements
  • Perform business analysis functions to gather user requirements
  • Perform application integrations and custom configuration
  • Perform troubleshooting on application related issues independently and/or third party vendors
  • Provide third level technical support for escalated desktop and application related issues
  • Develop detailed documentation on software configurations, deployment processes, packaging procedures, imaging process, test scripts and other desktop and application related documentation
  • Build and maintain a large-scaled multiple-sites SCCM infrastructure
  • Build, deploy and maintain firmÃŒs standard desktop Windows image
  • Create, test and deploy software packages
  • Develop custom SCCM web reports
  • Develop and maintain GPO, login process and user profiles
  • Evaluate and deploy security, OS and software patches and upgrades
  • Build and maintain application virtualization (APP-V) and desktop virtualization (MED-V) infrastructure for application delivery
  • Travel as needed.
Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years technical experience in IT industry
Minimum of 5 years of experience in application engineering and support
3-5 years hand-on experience with large-scale Microsoft SCCM/SMS for the administration and creation of collections, packages, and advertisements
Minimum of 10 years experience of supporting Windows XP/7 operating systems on DELL and Lenovo hardware
3-5 years experience in VB Scripting, Powershell Scripting, Login script authoring, and Group Policy Objects
3-5 years experience with application and desktop virtualization (APP-V, MAD-V), MDOP tools or other technologies
3-5 years experience in application packaging with InstallShield or other similar tools
Minimum of 3 years experience in desktop imaging, zero-touch desktop migration, USMT, ACT, ImageX
Minimum of 3 years experience in working with patch management using WSUS
Solid understanding and working experience of Microsoft networking and Microsoft SQL query
Strong software and hardware troubleshooting skills including application integrations issues
Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to plan, document, and effectively implement projects, processes, and systems
Must work well under sustained pressure including on-call situations
Must be a self-starter who is result driven with little direction and supervision
Flexible in work schedule
Microsoft Certifications a plus ? MCTIP in Enterprise Desktop Administrator 7, MCTS/MCITP in Virtualization Administrator, Desktop Virtualization, MCTS in MSCC Manager 2007, MOS in Microsoft Office Word

Education/Certifications and/or Work Experience
Bachelor?s Degree required.
Minimum of 10 years of technical experience in an information technology environment.
Experience working in a large law firm environment preferred.
